Install Potion Chrome extension
Visit Potion's Chrome Extension web page on Chrome Web Store
Click "Add to Chrome" button
(If Chrome shows a confirmation popup) Click "Add extension" button
(If you are not logged in) Potion will redirect you to Welcome to Potion page
(If you are already logged in) Potion will redirect you to your My Videos page
Click on the "puzzle" icon near the top-right corner of your Chrome window
Click the "pin" icon right next to "Potion" extension
Create Screen & Face Recording using Potion Chrome extension
Click "Potion" extension icon in your Chrome browser
You will see all the recording options
Move your mouse over to "Record screen" option
Click "Start recording" button
Wait for a few moments for your camera to start
You'll see a "Choose what you want to share" popup from Chrome
Select one of the three tabs presented in the popup - Entire Screen, Window, Chrome Tab
Click the image thumbnail in the popup you'd like to do screen-recording on
Click "Share" button in the popup
You will see a 3 second countdown timer
Record your video
Click "Stop" button
Your video will be saved and you will be redirected to the My Videos page
Change default camera and microphone in Potion Chrome extension
Click "Potion" extension icon in your Chrome browser
You will see all the recording options
Below the recording options, you'll see two dropdown options
Click the "Select camera" dropdown to change your default camera
Click the "Select mic" dropdown to change your default microphone
