Create a Dynamic Video

Dynamic Videos feature in Potion allows you to automatically generate videos with personalized greetings.

Dynamic videos use only your face and don't have the personalized background screenshot. 

If you'd like to generated videos with personalized greeting as well as personalized video backgrounds, please use Dynamic Screen Recordings.

Setup recording environment

1. Use a high quality microphone to record your video template and prospect greetings
2. Use the same microphone device to record your video template and prospect greetings
3. Make sure there is no background noise while recording your prospect greetings
4. Make sure your face is completely seen in the camera window
5. Make sure your face and the recording room is properly illuminated
6. Make sure your face fits snugly in the oval

Create Dynamic Videos

1. Note: This feature is not available for Free users
2. Click "Creation new video" option in the navigation on the left hand side
3. Move your mouse over to "Dynamic Video" option
4. Click "Start recording" button
5. Select your Dynamic Video type
   1. If you want to create Dynamic Videos with personalized greetings and backgrounds: Select "Personalize greeting & video background" option
   2. If you want to create Dynamic Videos with only personalized greetings: Select "Personalize only video background" option
   3. If you want to create Dynamic Videos with only personalized backgrounds: Select "Personalize only greeting" option
6. Click "Save & continue" button
7. Wait for a few moments for your camera to start
8. Once your camera starts, click "Start recording" button
9. Make sure you start your video with this generic greeting - "Hey there"
10. Make sure to take a quick pause after you say "Hey there"
11. Make sure to close your lips during your pause
12. You will see a 3 second countdown timer
13. Record your video template
14. Once you are done recording, click "Stop" button
15. If you're happy with your video, click "Save & continue" button
16. Wait for a few moments to get subtitles for your video
17. Once your subtitles are generated, click on the subtitles right after your are done saying "Hey there"
18. This is your Greeting Ending Spot
19. You can also use the audio waveform right below the subtitles to fine-tune your greeting ending spot selection
20. Click "Save & continue" button
21. In the next step, add only the first names of your prospects by copy-pasting them or by uploading a CSV file
22. Click "Save & continue" button
23. If you've already trained the AI with your voice, simply click on "Generate videos" button
24. If you have not trained the AI, you'll see a voice recorder screen with the prospect greeting printed in the middle 
25. Click the "Start recording" button on the first prospect greeting
26. Record the prospect greeting (eg: "Hey John")
27. Click the "Stop" button
28. You can preview your recording by clicking the "Play" icon button
29. If you're not happy with your recording, you can click the "Re-record" button
30. If you're happy with your recording, click the "Save & continue" button
31. You will see the next prospect greeting in the recorder screen
32. Record all prospect greetings one by one
33. One you record all prospect greetings, click the "Generate videos" button
34. Potion AI will now start generating personalized videos from your Dynamic Video Template and recorded prospect greetings
35. Once the video are generated, you'll receive an email

Re-record a greeting in case of an error

1. Click on the video thumbnail to visit the 'Video Edit Page'
2. Optional: Click "Show only errors" toggle to get only the videos with errors
3. Click on the "Re-record" greeting button
4. You'll see a voice recorder screen with the prospect greeting printed in the middle 
5. Click the "Start recording" button on the first prospect greeting
6. Record the prospect greeting (eg: "Hey John")
7. Click the "Stop" button
8. You can preview your recording by clicking the "Play" icon button
9. If you're not happy with your recording, you can click the "Re-record" button
10. If you're happy with your recording, click the "Save & continue" button
11. You will see the next prospect greeting from the errors list or unrecorded list on the recorder screen
12. You can choose to re-record all the erroneous greetings or click "Skip to end" button
13. One you record all prospect greetings, click the "Generate videos" button
14. Potion AI will now start generating personalized videos from your Dynamic Video Template and recorded prospect greetings
15. Once the video are generated, you'll receive an email

Convert screen & face recordings into Dynamic Videos

1. Click on the video thumbnail to visit the 'Video Edit Page'
2. Select the screen & face recording that you want to convert into a Dynamic Video
3. Click on "Video settings" tab
4. Scroll down and click "Create dynamic screen recording" button
5. Select your Dynamic Video type
   1. If you want to create Dynamic Videos with personalized greetings and backgrounds: Select "Personalize greeting & video background" option
   2. If you want to create Dynamic Videos with only personalized greetings: Select "Personalize only video background" option
6. Click "Convert" button
7. Wait for a few moments to get subtitles for your video
8. Once your subtitles are generated, click on the subtitles right after your are done saying "Hey there"
9. This is your Greeting Ending Spot
10. You can also use the audio waveform right below the subtitles to fine-tune your greeting ending spot selection
11. Click "Save & continue" button
12. In the next step, add only the first names of your prospects by copy-pasting them or by uploading a CSV file

Upload your own video as background in your Dynamic Videos

1. Click on the Dynamic Video thumbnail to visit the 'Video Edit Page'
2. Click on "Video settings" tab
3. Scroll down and click "Change default background" button
4. Select your new default background
   1. If you want to use a video or image: Click "Upload video or image" button to upload the new default background
   2. If you want to use a webpage screencapture: Paste URL of the webpage in the textbox
5. Click "Save" button

Limitations of the AI

1. Currently, the AI can only generate your name greetings
2. The AI cannot produce clean looking output if the video template is recorded in a poorly illuminated room
3. The AI cannot produce clean looking output if the video template is recorded with partial face in the camera stream
4. The AI cannot produce clean sounding output if the training sentences are recorded with background noise and low-quality microphones
