- Click on "Theme" on the left side of your Potion account
- Click the purple "Change Gif preview" button
- Here we can modify a number of aspects of your GIF preview, including:
- Play button shape
- Use the drop down menu to select "Circle", "Square" or "No button"
- Play button style
- Use the drop down menu to toggle between an outline or a solid play button - this changes the style of the triangle located within the play button

- Play button opacity
- Use the drop down menu to select the percentage of opacity for your play button - this will make your play button more or less transparent, depending on the percentage you select
- 0% opacity means fully transparent and 100% opacity means fully opaque.
- Text banner style
- Use the drop down menu to select "With timer", "Without timer" or "no banner"
- With timer: A banner will appear in your GIF preview and in your video for an amount of time set by you
- Without timer: A banner will appear in your GIF preview as well throughout the entirety of your video
- No banner: This option means you'll have no banner in your GIF preview or video
- Use the drop down menu to select "With timer", "Without timer" or "no banner"
- Text banner content
- If you selected "With timer" or "Without timer", this is where you'll be able to type what you want your text banner to say
- Note: You can utilize a dynamic field like {first_name} to have Potion populate the first name of your recipient in your text banner
- Play button opacity
After customizing these options, click "Save Changes" at the bottom of the page to apply your adjustments to your GIF previews. With these options, you can create a GIF preview that perfectly complements your brand and video messaging!
